Introduction of the Speakers:

Julien Forgeat:Julien Forgeat:He is a Beijing based engineer working in the telecommunication industry and an enthusiastic Linux user.

Ray Wang: Ray Wang: FreeSoftware/OpenSource Software Fan, believes in the Philosophy and Spirit of the FSSOSS, has three years GNU/Linux Experience, now working for Novell, focuses on the Accessibility of the Mono. Member of the BLUG(Beijing Linux User Group).

Pockey Lam: Core member of Beijing Linux (Open Source) User Group, Pockey Lam has been active in contributing to Open Source promotion in China by assisting in open source event organization such as user group meetings, DistroShow in universities, Software Freedom Day(Beijing & Qingdao), Linux Developer Symposium, GNOME.Asia Summit and OOoCon, etc. She also established a TechGirls Group in Beijing in 2007 having projects like Installfest for girls in order to draw more girls participation in the Open World.

Emily Chen: Emily joined Sun as a Software Engineer and now work on OpenSolaris desktop team. Currently she is responsible for the quality of the Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird applications on OpenSolaris. Emily worked on Google Summer of Code project as a mentor in 2006 and 2007. She is called OpenSolairs contributor in 2008. She organized the first ever GNOME.Asia Summit in Beijing.

Introduction of Speaker

Lingtao Pan is a student of Second-year master's degree in Department of Computer Science, Tsinghua University, researches for computer network, especially for routing of the Internet. He has been using Linux for five years, and has strong interest on programming. He want to be able to grasp the programming skills thoroughly, and now focuses on GNOME Desktop System.

Introduction of the Tsinghua Open Source Software Club:

Tsinghua Open Source Software Club is an opensource organization focuses on building the open-source community of Tsinghua University. It was fouded in 2005-9.The aim of the Club: Building the open-source community of Tsinghua University, Practice and disseminate the open source philosophy---Fun for tech, Open, Equality and Communicate to Create Together.
