Abstract
The free software community in Asia is becoming larger though most of the popular programs are developed by western programmers. When nowadays we talk about localization, we think about translation and CJK input methods. We are still struggling about no use of the local online services and yet the online service trend is becoming even more accepted by the market.
In the talk, the speaker will talk about adding local services support (like Baidu service) in the open source projects. And yet discuss about software localization development based on his experiences with the KDE projects.
